Ms. Margaret

Celebrating its 15th year, Music 4ne1, formally KidNotes and Kindermusik of Randolph County had its beginnings at The Church of the Good Shepherd in 1991 with the help of Kindermusik co-founder and then Asheboro resident Daniel Pratt. In 1994, the business began a gratifying relationship with Randolph Arts Guild and is currently teaching there while introducing young families to Randolph Arts Guild’s many offerings.

“I just wanted to let you know how much Emma has talked about Ms. Margaret and asked about
Kindermusik. She has listened and listened to her CDs. She pretends to be you and has Kindermusik
with her baby dolls. Everyday, for the past week and a half she has asked me if she's going to
Kindermusik! At random times she "breaks into Kindermusik"--this morning, I was getting her
breakfast ready and she said, "Mommy, I got the toe-tapping' blues" as she tapped her toes!”

Education takes place right in the classroom with the inclusion of Kindermusik Foundations of Learning™. Kindermusik Foundations of Learning are scientific explanations of how Kindermusik enhances the natural growth systems of the young mind and body. You'll learn how music contributes to enhanced language development, preparation for reading, inhibitory control, attention, phonological awareness, and more.

Social
Kindermusik gives children the opportunity to develop social skills and build relationships with other children their own age while enjoying music.

Cognitive
Current research has proven that tapping a steady beat, balancing, and patterning will help children later on in math, reading, problem solving, and concentration.

Emotional
Music of all kinds is good for the soul of children everywhere.

Physical
We move around a lot! Moving develops body awareness, coordination, and spatial relationships through synchronized and creative movement, and simple dances.

Musical
Kindermusik introduces your child to
rhythms, instruments, singing, dance, and a wide variety of musical styles.

Language
Language skills are developed and honed through exposure to literature (an important component of the curriculum). Children also explore vocal sounds and singing, which foster the development of your child’s first and most important instrument—the voice!
